Taxila boy sets world record, scores 28 A's in O levels



A Pakistani student has set a new world record by achieving 28 A’s in University of Cambridge’s O-level examinations.

NUST Made Hybrid Scooter

The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) on Saturday introduced first hybrid scooter and motorcycle, which will be fuel efficient and low in pollution, an official said.

Besides this, the students of NUST have also introduced first hybrid car in Pakistan, which does not produce much pollution and consumes minimal fuel and its different propulsion systems have either common parts or systems.

Namira Salim born 1975 in Karachi, Pakistan, is a Pakistani explorer who is the first Pakistani to have reached the North and South Poles. She will also become the first Pakistani to travel into space after she was shortlisted among 100 space tourists by the world's first commercial space liner Virgin Galactic in 2007 out of 44,000 candidates. Salim has said she hopes her achievements are an inspiration for Pakistani women.

He climbed all six without supplemental oxygen. His ambition is to climb all the 14 eight-thousanders. The Fourteen independent mountains on Earth that are more than 8,000 meters (26,247 ft) high above sea level.
